Flow Yoga with Katie Weathers will begin next Tuesday 10/18 5:30-6:30 PM!!
This class will incorporate a Vinyasa Flow style for those brand new to yoga as well as those already familiar with the practice. One hour of group instruction in poses to strengthen and lengthen, supplemented with breathing and relaxation techniques. There will be a focus on alignment and modifications given for every posture but you WILL sweat! Its a great addition to your normal routine and there is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for members! Please bring a mat!
Katie began teaching Yoga in 2005 after her own yoga instructor influenced her to attend teacher training. She has instructed at several fitness centers as well as Boston University. Katie also has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy which enhances her instruction during class to focus on injury prevention and proper alignment. She currently works as a home health physical thereapist, resides in Springfield and enjoys attending Body Pump, Insanity and Zumba classes at MRFC!!
